About Me:
Since completing my radiology residency and neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, I have spent most of my career at the BILH affiliated hospitals for over 20 years. I have always been drawn to neuroradiology. My academic research focuses on advanced imaging to assess alterations in brain functions in patients with polysubstance abuse. I hold a teaching appointment as Assistant Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School.
I have committed my career to teaching neuroradiology to medical students, residents and visiting fellows, emphasizing the importance of the radiologist’s role in playing an integral part in patient care. I emphasize to my students that radiologists should guide referring clinicians and facilitate appropriate differential diagnoses for the best patient outcomes. I enjoy being a mentor, providing career advice and support, and helping create a collegial environment to promote learning.
More recently, I have become an integral part of the rapid response stroke team with the goal of making a positive difference in patient outcomes. I believe in providing the highest quality patient centered care. I constantly strive to improve workflow efficiency through schedule refinements, while maintaining the highest clinical standards.
Outside of work, I enjoy adventuring to new restaurants around the Greater Boston area, wine tasting, and globetrotting with my husband and two daughters!
